This morning, Stations 270 and 271 were dispatched to a residential structure fire on Imperial Dr. in South Park Twp. Caller reported their back deck on fire. While units were enroute, ACES 911 reported they were getting reports of entrapment. 270 Chief requested Stations 232 and 180 to be added to the assignment. 270 Chief arrived on scene reporting a working structure fire and confirmed there was no entrapment. First arriving crews from 270 Truck and 232 Engine deployed lines and was able to get a quick knock on the fire. Crews performed extensive overhaul and worked to extinguish hot spots. The Allegheny County Fire Marshal was called to the scene and is investigating the cause of the fire. There were no reported injuries.
